About this Course

Are you having conflict with your ex about your day-to-day parenting? Are you finding that your child is emotionally struggling with your current parenting plan? When was the last time you re-visited your parenting plan? Do you have a parenting plan? Join us with Mary-Anne Popescu and Rose Morsh as they will be discussing the benefits of Family Mediation and create a Flexible Parenting Plan that meets the needs of families. 

In this workshop, we will learn: 

• What is family mediation?
• Benefits of family mediation! 
• How to create a parenting plan?
• How often your plan is to be reviewed?
• What is the difference in parenting plans for younger children than youth?
• How to support your child's emotional health during the transition from one home to the next?

About Your Instructor: 

Mary-Anne Popescu is the Executive Director of the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM). As an OAFM Accredited Family and Elder Mediator, and Child Protection Mediator in private practice, she works to bring peaceful resolutions that help families adapt to challenges and changes across the life cycle. Mary-Anne is also a roster mediator for the Office of Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD), and the Ministry of Government and Consumer Affairs.
