Our children are no longer infants and toddlers and we, as parents, must allow them to spread their wings and become more independent. However, it is our responsibility is to teach them to be responsible citizens and to recognize and mitigate risk. This course will provide children and pre-teens with the tools they need to prevent accidents, mitigate risks and to handle emergencies.
Accidental deaths are the third leading cause of death of children and pre-teens across the country. Sadly, many children’s futures will be changed forever due to accidents. 75% of those children are harmed by unintentional accidents in the household, a parent’s worst nightmare.
