About Clayton Instructors Courses
Mr. Spencer was called to the bar in 1998 and has practiced Family Law in Durham Region since that time. He provides a broad range of Family Law services, including divorce, parenting, child and spousal support, property division, and child protection. Mr. Spencer completed his collaborative training in 2007 and has been provided such services to clients since that time. Mr. Spencer has been a panel lawyer with the Office of the Children’s Lawyer since 2009.
Mr. Spencer was appointed a Family Court Dispute Resolution Officer when that program was introduced to Durham Region in 2011. Mr. Spencer became an arbitrator in 2015, and since 2021, has been the co-chair of the Arbitration Section of FDRIO. In addition to providing ADR services, Mr. Spencer also helps to train new family arbitrators with Riverdale Mediation.
