This program is best for families who are struggling with more than 3 parental concerns, children with strong emotional outburst, couples with conflicting parenting views and families with child welfare concerns. This training course will also help families or individual in parenting -conflicts and child welfare concerns. This program with identify and prevent a range of social and behavioral problems in children.
This 7-session training course will present a rationale and background to behavioral family intervention, together with an overview of common behavioral and emotional problems in children. Practitioners will support and respond to a broad range of childhood behavioral problems. This course adopts a skills-based training approach involving didactic presentations, practical skills training, and clinical problem-solving exercises, as well as visual demonstrations of positive parenting strategies.
Individual who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment that can be used in court matters and children aid supports.
These courses are available one-on-one and in group setting.
Courses are taught online and in our facility in Thornhill for your convenience during weekdays and weekends.
