Have you ever wondered if your child is developing “on track” — or worried that something might be off, but weren’t sure what to look for or who to ask? Well, you’re not alone — many parents feel uncertain about what’s normal and what might be a sign of something more, especially in the early years!.
This is why we created an insightful and empowering parenting workshop titled, "Recognizing Developmental Red Flags and Milestones in Children." It's specifically for parents, caregivers, and educators who want to better understand how children grow and learn — and how to spot potential concerns early enough to make a real difference.
In this workshop, you'll gain a deeper understanding of key developmental milestones across various domains: social, emotional, physical, communication, and cognitive!. We’ll explore what’s typical at different ages, and highlight which behaviors or delays may warrant closer attention or professional input. Through real-life examples, interactive discussion, and practical tools, you’ll walk away with the knowledge to confidently support your child’s growth and advocate for early intervention if needed — all while nurturing a loving and supportive home environment.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to identify typical developmental milestones from infancy through early childhood
- Early signs of potential developmental delays and when to seek professional support
- The importance of observation and tracking in monitoring your child’s progress
- How to distinguish between a delay and a variation in personality or temperament
- Ways to create a supportive, developmentally rich environment at home
By the end of the workshop, you’ll feel better equipped to recognize your child’s needs, support their unique journey, and take action early when necessary — because early awareness can change the trajectory of a child’s future.
